    Hot plate solar cooker

    Parabolic solar power cooker with a wooden or cardboard base and high refraction index reflectors. This solar cooker can reach high temperatures, similar to those reached in a conventional cooker. Its parabolic shape is due to 11 "barillas", made of cardboard or wood, that form the base, and where the reflecting aluminium is placed.
    Plans are freely distributed, although the construction of the cooker requires some skills and specific tools.

    Commercial parabolic solar cooker. It is built using sections of high reflection aluminium and the concentration power is so high in the focal point that can be used to cook like a conventional cooker.

    The grill area (situated in the focal point of the parabola) is fixed in the cooker structure and remains horizontal while the reflector moves freely over the base to be orientated directly to the sun.

    Solar cooker Papillon

    Folding solar cooker with two sections of parabola which concentrate the solar radiation in the bottom of the cooking recipient. It uses direct solar radiation and it can be orientated with two movements: turning completely from the base, or moving the reflectors.
    The recipient support is fixed and it's possible to cook standing up from the upper part, which also reduces the risks of reflections and eye damage.
    Due to its design, there are not reflectors under the boiling area, this way there is no problem when spilling out some food.

    Solarsizzle

    Solar Sizzler is a portable cooker. The reflector consists in 9 sections that once assembled with the central axis, form a parabolic structure with a diameter of 91,5 cm.
    The cooker's size and weight make it easy to transport. However the system also requires two bases to be able to cook: one to hold the plate so the cooker can be positioned towards the sun (as a camera tripod does) and another one for the cooking grill.

    RSD Distillators

    RSD Solar Wasser distillators appear similar to well-known "tent" distillators, althought operation is somewhat different. In this system, called Rsoendahl, the amount of untreated water that goes into the collector is regulated by a monitoring system, including a solar radiation detector, so the distillator processes more or less water matching the solar radiation available at every moment (this system is regulated by hand in the model "mini").
